Privacy Policy

PN Construction Ltd. (also known as Parmnoor Construction) is a family-owned renovation contractor based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

We only collect the information we need to answer your enquiry and do your project:

• Our website contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), your city or postal code, details about your project (such as the type of work, budget and timeline), how you heard about us, and your message.
• Our Facebook and Instagram ads: when you fill in a form on one of our ads, you send us your full name and phone number. These forms are run by Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), and Meta passes your answers on to us.
• Phone calls, emails, texts and WhatsApp messages: whatever you choose to share with us when you contact us.
• During a project: your address and the details needed to quote, schedule and complete the work, and to invoice you.
• Website visits: general information about how people use our website (see "Cookies and Google Analytics" below).

• To call you back, answer your questions and give you an estimate. If you send us your name and phone number through our website or a Facebook or Instagram form, you agree that we may call or text you about your request.
• To plan, schedule and complete your project, and to send quotes and invoices.
• To follow up after a project, for example to make sure you're happy or to ask if you'd leave us a review.
• To keep the business records we're required to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes.
• To understand how our website and ads are performing, so we can improve them.

We'll only send you promotional emails or texts if you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We only share it with companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need to do their job:

• Netlify, which hosts our website and delivers contact-form messages to us.
• Zoho, which provides our business email.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics.
• Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), which runs our ads and ad forms and our WhatsApp messaging.
• Trades and suppliers working on your project, when they need details such as your address to do the work.

We may also share information if the law requires it. Some of these companies may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws.

We often photograph our projects. We always ask your permission before posting photos of your home on our website or social media, and we keep personal details such as faces, family photos and house numbers out of the pictures we share.

Our website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, such as how many people viewed a page, what type of device and browser they used, their general area, and whether they contacted us. Google Analytics uses small files called cookies to do this. It doesn't tell us who you are.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The website will still work.

We keep your information only as long as we need it. If an enquiry doesn't turn into a project, we delete your details once we no longer need them. For completed projects, we keep invoices and related records for as long as the law requires, which is generally six years in Canada for tax purposes.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as password-protected accounts and only giving access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share with us.

You can ask us at any time to:

• show you the personal information we have about you,
• correct anything that's wrong,
• stop contacting you, or
• delete your information (unless we have to keep it by law, such as invoices).

Just email us at info@pnconstruction.ca. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
